I got a birthday package from my dear friend Rachel and it was squishy and you know what that means....hand knitted item!!
A beautiful hand knitted cowl. I love it!! She made it from hand dyed hand spun yarn. I know what a sacrifice it was for her give up this lovely yarn so I thank her SO much.

Gee, I didn't know you knew my daughter! LOL! She too is a Rachel and a knitter and that looks like a piece she would make for a friend! Lovely and looks warm and cozy....hmmmm, I think I need to call my daughter!! LOL!
Awww, that's so sweet! I just now saw this post, because we've been camping in the middle of nowhere without internet (don't feel too sorry for me, we were at the beach :)
