Place mat Purse

We made this cute little bag today in MOPS out of a place mat. How cute is that?? You just take a regular place mat and sew up the edges, add some ribbon for the handles and off you go! I'm loving it. Thanks Nikki for such a great idea!

So Much Sickness!!

We have been plagued with ear infections since about Thanksgiving. Neither child has ever had one and it seems like all of a sudden they are non stop. After three rounds of antibiotics I decided we needed to try something different. I've been reading how chiropractic care can help with ear infections and I thought I would give it a try.

Bubby has had three sessions this week and he is a brand new child!! I couldn't believe it. He's sleeping through the night for the first time in probably 6 months. It's amazing. So, now I have a cold and I'm not sleeping through night....sigh....

The Reason I Had Children....

So I wouldn't have to clean the bathroom! I'm just kidding cause if that were true I would have a LOT more children. And besides that theory is a Catch-22 cause if I didn't have children I wouldn't have such messes in the house. My house would be neat, clean and quiet....sigh.....

She actually enjoys mopping the floor. I think she gets THAT gene from her Great Grandma Fern.

Just Celebrate!

I made 20 invite cards for the kid's birthday party. I used the Stampin' Up! Just Celebrate and the Lots of Thoughts stamp sets. I also borrowed my friend Sheri's Cropadail to set the eyelets. Going to have to get one of those! Too easy! I made the scalloped edges with the slit punch and the flower with the scallop punch.
I made this card and gave it to Sheri for letting me use her Cropadail. I should have made all the invites like this card cause it was a LOT easier. Every year I say I'm going to do something really simple and then I get carried away.

Every Once in Awhile

Every once in awhile Bubby will just look too cute and then I forget what a stinker he can be. I found him sitting in the closet today 'making notes' he said.
